ACT III OF PROJECT: MINI-CAST
- A short podcast episode called ‘Pod Pals: Great Wordsmiths’ created by Will Humble and me for the Composing Digital Media course (link for listening provided above)
- Topic: Great literature; specifically focused on the Sherlock Holmes story ‘His Last Bow’ by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
- Use of outside music tracks by Podington Bear, Foley sound effects created by ourselves and our classmates, and vocal recordings of ourselves
ACT II OF PROJECT: FOLK TALE WITH SOUND EFFECTS
- A short podcast story, in which I narrate the folk tale ‘Arthur Gets the Sword Excalibur from the Lady of the Lake’ (listen here!)
- The story is taken from the University of Pittsburgh Dash Folk Tales website (here)
- The sound effects are from a library of audio files created by my classmates and me
ACT I OF PROJECT: ‘FOLEY’ SOUND EFFECTS
- There are ‘Foley’ style sound effects created by my classmates and me to represent various real-world and fictional sounds (listen to my sound effects here!)
- These sound effects will be used in our audio projects
